Michelle McLean featured in Woman & Home - Feb 2012

Michelle McLean, 39, lives in Johannesburg with her son, Luke, 12, and her partner, Gary Bailey. She was born in Namibia and was crowned Miss Universe in 1992. She founded the Michelle McLean Children Trust in Namibia, which focuses on the education and care of underprivileged children. She also started a primary school in her name 11 years ago, where 900 children are educated, and set up the Michelle McLean School of Excellence to provide entrepreneurial and skills training to grades 10 to 12. The Trust celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Michelle also works as a motivational speaker for young woman and is currently working on a few television projects.
