Patron Visit

MICHELLE MCLEAN-BAILEY VISITS H.E. DR. SAM NUJOMA

Michelle McLean-Bailey, Chairperson, together with the Board of Trustees of the Michelle McLean Children Trust paid a visit to H.E. Dr. Sam Nujoma, Founding President of the Republic of Namibia and Patron of the Michelle McLean Children Trust & Michelle McLean Primary School while Michelle visited Namibia in April 2014 as she now resides in Florida, USA with her husband, Gary Bailey.

Michelle McLean-Bailey thanked H.E. Dr. Sam Nujoma for his continued support and patronage over the last 22 years that has ensured the success and sustainability of the Trust. And on behalf of the Nation, thanked him for his wisdom and leadership since Namibia`s Independence.

H.E. Dr. Sam Nujoma has been part of the Michelle McLean Children Trust since its inception in 1992. His Excellency was also present at the inauguration of the Michelle McLean Primary School in Otjomuise in October 2000.

H.E. Dr. Sam Nujoma thanked Michelle for her continuous unconditional love for and care towards all Namibian children after making her promise in 1992, `My priority would be with the children of Namibia, because they are the foundation of every nation.`, when winning the Miss Universe pageant in Bangkok, Thailand.
